Agforce

Total Insect Concentrate

Agforce is an essential oil concentrate derived from nature and effective against wide variety of pests. Its formula is suitable for all crops and ornamentals, and can be used up to harvest.
  • Agforce is a next-generation, plant-based pest control solution designed for use on food crops and ornamentals. Its dual mode of action—combining physical and biological mechanisms—effectively combats even resistant insect populations by desiccation, resolving the insects cuticle. Biologically, AgForce disrupts the insects nervous system, causing death. With an easy-mixing formulation, no pre-harvest interval, and no re-entry restrictions, Agforce provides reliable pest control without compromising plant health or beneficial insects. Made in the US with full traceability, it offers a sustainable solution with low environmental persistence.

What is the mode of action of AgForce Total Insect Concentrate?

There are several modes of action including physical, which dissolves the cuticle, and biological, which disrupts the nervous system. Having multiple modes of action helps prevent resistance development in insect pests. These modes of action require contact with the insects for best efficacy.

Is AgForce Total Insect Concentrate safe for plants?

AgForce Total Insect Concentrate has been tested on a variety of different food crops and ornamentals without signs of plant damage at the recommended rates. To confirm your target crop will be safe, it is always recommended to test AgForce Total Insect Concentrate on a small group of plants due to variations in climate, host variety, and environmental pressures.

Is AgForce Total Insect Concentrate safe for beneficial insects?

When used properly and after product dries, AgForce Total Insect Concentrate is safe for beneficials. Due to its quick drying and lack of residuals, it will not affect beneficials if you spray shortly before introduction and will not have a lasting effect like some other insecticides.

However, if you spray directly onto beneficials there is a chance of mortality - especially if the beneficials are smaller insects.

What are the recommended rates for AgForce Total Insect Concentrate?

Spray rates range from 0.5% - 2.0% volume concentrate by volume of water (v/v). For example, a 100 gallon per acre rate would include 0.5 gallons to 2.0 gallons of AgForce Total Insect Concentrate. For most insects a 0.5%-1.0% v/v rate is very effective. Higher rates are typically only needed for large or difficult to kill insects.

For dipping, dilute AgForce Total Insect Concentrate at 0.5% v/v.
