Stik-Kote® is formulated to modify the exposure profile of insects to enhance the bioavailability of the active ingredient(s) in insecticides. It also works to disperse the spray droplets and provide even deposition of the pesticide active ingredient(s) on the insects. 

Stik-Kote® acts to improve spray coverage and enhance the pest's exposure to the insecticide used in the tank mix. Stik-Kote® can be applied to a wide variety of agricultural crops and ornamental plants as well as indoor and outdoor non-cropland sites. Not for aquatic use.  

COMPATIBILITY:  Stik-Kote® is believed to be compatible with most pesticides that are not highly alkaline.  If separation of spray mixture occurs, do not use.  

NEVER EXCEED LABEL RATES DUE TO PHYTOTOXICITY RISK.

Phytotoxic risk may increase when applied to plants with juvenile or sensitive foliage (e.g. tomatoes, peppers, herbs), young plants (e.g., seedings), and plants in bloom. If in doubt, perform a preliminary test on a few plants to ensure a lack of phytotoxicity.  

For best results, buffer spray water to pH 5.0-7.5.  

In order to reduce phytotoxicity risk the product has to be applied when the conditions allow easy and fast drying of spray dilution on plants (e.g. when the weather is dry and sunny).  Morning applications are preferable.  

IMPORTANT NOTE: Plant safety is an important consideration when making spray applications. However, it is not possible to evaluate the phytotoxicity of Stik-Kote® towards all plant varieties that may react differently to spray applications in different growth stages or under varying environmental conditions.  

Before making widespread applications of Stik-Kote®, the user or applicator advisor must have experience with the tank mix or have conducted a phytotoxicity trial by treating a limited number of plants and observing for phytotoxicity over a 5-day period. 

READ ENTIRE LABEL PRIOR TO USE. 

Stik-Kote® should be added after the insecticide(s) has been mixed with water.  Mix according to the pesticide product label. Working solution (Stik-Kote® plus insecticide).  Apply formulation topically only using a fine mister (LV) - recommended droplet size; 80-100 microns.  Follow insecticide label directions for use and reapplication interval. Mix well before spraying.   

USE RATES 

Stik-Kote® is recommended to be used with insecticides registered for the following uses:  

INDOOR & OUTDOOR TREATMENT OF NONCROPLAND SITES  

Adjuvant Concentration: 1.0% - 2.0% (1 ¼ – 2 ½ fl. oz of the product per gallon).   

Care should be taken while using Stik-Kote® mixture on surfaces susceptible to damage/ stains (e.g., mattresses, carpet, furniture). Treat a small area to ensure dam- age/stain does not occur before full application.  

INDOOR & OUTDOOR USE ON CROPS

Adjuvant Concentration: Due to varying phytotoxic risk of the Stik-Kote® adjuvant on different plants, the adjuvant concentration must be adjusted according to plant being treated. Please refer to the table for the concentrations to be used on the following plants.   

Agricultural Crop Application Rates: 

Mix as directed using sufficient volumes to ensure thorough foliage coverage.  

Fruit trees, berries, and vegetables: 0.10% - 0.20% v/v (⅛ - ¼ fl. oz of the product per gallon)  

Cucumbers: 0.20% v/v (¼ fl. oz of the product per gallon)   

Tomatoes, peppers, eggplants: 0.05% - 0.10 v/v (1/16- ⅛ fl. oz of the product per gallon)   

Cereal grains: 0.20% v/v (¼ fl. oz of the product per gallon)  

Herbs: 0.05% v/v (1/16fl. oz the product per gallon)  

Ornamental Application Rates: 

Mix as directed using sufficient volumes to ensure thorough foliage coverage.  

Ornamental trees and shrubs:  0.10% - 0.20% v/v (⅛ - ¼ fl. oz of the product per gallon)   

Roses: 0.05% - 0.10% v/v (1/16- ⅛ fl. oz of the product per gallon)   

Other ornamental plants:  0.05% v/v (1/16 fl. oz. of the product per gallon)  

For greenhouse grown ornamental, flowering and foliage plants: Do not apply more than 1 time per day.
